Blue Mountain Cigars “Threesome”

The Blue Mountain Cigars “Threesome”, 3 wrappers 3 different blends in one fine looking cigar. The name is easy to see where it came from, you can easily notice the wrapper colorings. The thing I really noticed with this cigar was the flavor profile changes.

The cigar had a nice construction and was a 6 X 60, so not my usual choice but very tasty. The first third of the cigar was pretty mild with the Connecticut wrapper and produced a light colored smoke with a light bit of flavor. Into the second third the flavor started to pick up with the Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and the smoke profile increased as well with a step up in spice. Lastly into the Maduro wrapper, the spice stepped up and this cigar moved into the full bodied profile I was hoping for.

This cigar gave me about an hour and a half of real enjoyment and the flavors increased slightly, and just enough to really keep me interested. The burn was not perfect, but sometimes with a 60 ring gauge that’s just what you get. I am giving this cigar a 7 Smoke Rings rating and I would recommend this cigar to anyone who wants to “start mild and end wild”.

  1. I won a contest from them and am waiting to see what they send. Interesting idea of a 3 in 1 cigar. Highly interested in trying it.
