Casa Fuente 806 Series

Today’s cigar is a good one, I was gifted this cigar by my friend “Jack”. I couldn’t let this Casa Fuente 800 Series Robusto rest any longer, it was calling my name.

I have had a few of these in the past and managed to by my daily allowance of them when I was in Vegas a while back, unfortunately I had smoked them all because they are just that tasty. I was told they are a mix of an Opus X blend with a Cameroon wrapper and it really compliments both tobaccos very well.

The pre light draw was a little cedary and has a slight coffee flavor. The burn and draw were both impeccable and the ash stuck around for almost 2 inches before it began to worry me. This cigar is not as spicey as some of the other Casa’s I have had and I really appreciated the mellow flavors.

I am giving this cigar 9 Smoke Rings, this is one amazing cigar and I am sure no one would be disappointed with the quality and the workmanship of this cigar.

  1. It is an 806 and they differ from the regular Casa Fuente line that has Cameroon wrapper with a Rosado wrapper. That one has a year in the box. Glad you liked it

  2. I’ve had only two Casa’s and each at different ends of my spectrum! The toro I had recently was a yellow band and it was divine! The other a few months back was one I had dreamed of, the lance to! It was an orange ribbon foot band and was so mild that I would have needed to smoke light sticks for awhile to prep for it! It was wasted on me! I could hardly pick flavored out of it! The yellow ribbon however, I would buy as many as I could! The rosado wrapper sounds awesome too though that may be what I had…
