Sosa Super Selection Torpedo

The Sosa Super Selection Torpedo has been resting in my wineador for a few weeks now and what better way to enjoy it than in a morning round of golf.

This is a fabulous cigar with a dark maduro wrapper and an old world look and feel to it. The cigar was firm and a smooth draw. The cap on the cigar was just a tad tough to cut but I can deal with that and it just assures me it won’t unroll while smoking.

These are a very inexpensive maduro cigar made in Little Havana,  Florida.  The quality of the tobacco is flavorful and the burn very good. I had a few beers while golfing but think this would have been best served with a Mojito.

I will be ordering a few more of these. There seems to be a trend that a good maduro should be expensive, but Iam glad Sosa hasn’t stuck with the trend.  Overall a good cigar I would say it’s an easy cigar to enjoy at the price. I am giving this cigar 7 Smoke Rings!

  1. I was curious about Sosa, but hadn’t seen anyone try them yet. Guess I’ll have to look at ordering a sampler sometime.
